About This Piece

Vintage Design

Tiered desk called ‘Mazarin’ in blond oak.

In the upper part, the extension opens to 7 drawers with buttons mounted in a dovetail framed by 4 detached columns with palmiform capitals and flanked on each side by 2 shelves cut in a curved shape. The middle has 2 niches superimposed one on top of the other.

The lower part has 2 deep drawers with buttons distributed on each side, all resting on 8 sculpted columns placed on shelves. All resting on 8 discreet round and flat feet.

Period: Mid-19th century

Perfect condition after restoration, stripping and waxed patina in our workshop.
