19th Century Restoration Period Walnut Console Table

About This Piece

Vintage Design

Console in solid Walnut, with top in White Marble veined with Grey.
It offers a 7 cm deep drawer, hidden in its belt, and opening by two invisible notches placed underneath.
This piece of furniture is composed in front of two curved legs, finished in Crosses in the upper parts and modestly molded in the lower parts. They are themselves camped on two square section bases. The uprights and back legs are flat and straight.
The whole is linked by a thick crotch plate, curved in front.
This Bicentennial Console has the peculiarity of being entirely made of solid Walnut, where its counterparts are often made of Veneer Wood, at least partially.
