ANTIQUE STONE WINDOW - PISANA WITH MALTESE CROSS 18th Century Ancient Pisana window in Golfolina Pisana (grey sandstone) with a beautiful Maltese cross engraved on the front. These windows were mainly produced in the province of Pisa, rarely in other Tuscan cities. The Maltese cross refers to a Pisan family belonging to the "Knights of Malta", in the center of Pisa there are many buildings that display the weapons of the Knights of Malta.
