Art Deco Dancer Posing in a Long Dress attributed to Claire Weiss for Goldscheider Vienna, 1930s

Excellent rare Goldscheider ceramic figurine of the late 1930s: Young, elegant lady with parted red hair tied back at the nape of her neck, wearing a long tight red lace dress without shoulders, with an elaborate back neckline and a wide undulating rippling lower skirt, performing a dance step and posing with her arms crossed in front of her upper body, her head tilted to one side and her gaze lowered. On a black, flat oval base, artist's signature 'Claire Herczeg' on the underside.
