Elegant Dresser of Prussian Early Classicism, manufactured in the late 18th century, on four high, conical legs standing, strictly rectangular dresser body with two superimposed drawers and final wooden plate. Front, both sides and plate with fine mahogany. Code holes of the drawers with ebonized diamond-shaped frames, legs from the commodic body also sold with e-denied narrow plinths. Very nice elegant example of the German / Prussian early classicism; The dresser points in its puristic design language and fine proportioning a clear similarity with the furniture of the Schloßes Paretz near Potsdam, the favorite summer residence of the Prussian King Friedrich Wilhelm III. (1770-1840) and his wife Queen Louise (1776-1810). Condition: very good, min. Age and traces of wear, shellac refreshed
