French Barbers Mirror, 1950s

Superb, collectible, vintage, barber / hairdresser's mirror inside of a nickel-plated, brass frame with rounded edges and red casing from France, circa 1950's

This timeless piece, remains in very good condition with very light marks and signs of previous usage as well as patina of age and time. The mirror itself, is clean with no chips or cracks ,very light scratches on upper left and right corner see photos). The frame has rounded edges with no dents. It's maintained a smooth, sleek patina, with minuscule signs of age and use commensurate with time (see photos.)

The red back panel (casing) is also in good condition, with very light marks of age and use consistent with time, some faded color, but no rips or tears (see photo )
The chain at the top center, is original, sturdy and functional, so it can be hung on a wall with no issue.


It has been only gently cleaned with respect to the original patina.

A fantastic piece of history, that can still be used in modern times and an excellent gift for collectors of nostalgia, that will look fantastic in an entry hallway, niche, bathroom, bedroom, living room, et al.
