Beautiful patinated bronze test after Joseph Charles Marin (1759-1834), pupil of the CLODION sculptor. He won the Grand Prix de Rome in 1801 and produced the original sculpture of this work at the beginning of the 19th century.

Gracious and delicate, the "young woman crowned with flowers" is an ode neo-classical realization to femininity and beauty.

Dressed in flowers intertwined in her curly hair and on her vaporous dress, the muse turns her head gently into a delightful movement.
