Engraving Lucas Vorsterman Adriaen Brouwer 7 Peches Capitaux Invidia Envie This engraving is old no doubt it was made by Lucas Vosterman after a work attributed to Adriaen Brouwer ENVY, Lucas Vorsterman the Elder, born in 1595 in Zaltbommel and died in 1675 in Antwerp, is a Flemish engraver . He studied between the years 1617 and 1618 in the studio of Peter Paul Rubens. He created many prints after the originals of Rubens and Antoine van Dyck, using new methods of metal processing. Adriaen Brouwer, 1605 or 1606 - buried in Antwerp, February 1, 1638 is a painter and draftsman from the southern Netherlands specializing in genre scenes.
