All the poetry, delicacy and charm of Japanese culture is apparent in Hakou, the line of fruit dishes and knick knack trays designed by Matteo Fiorini for Mason Editions. A sheet of glass crafted in a thickness of one centimetre, with a shape that recalls a leaf or a boat slightly tilted by the wind, appears to be suspended over a dainty base consisting of a series of metal rods, intersected on the shorter side to form a slender trestle. The sunlight comes through the glass gracefully, creating a play of lights and shadows. A rectangular glass tray to compliment your dining table.
