Description 19TH CENTURY FLAME MAHOGANY TALL CHEST OF DRAWERS CIRCA 1870. FINE QUALITY CADDY TOP TALL CHEST OF DRAWERS, WHICH IS ALSO KNOWN AS A SEMINERE CHEST, BECAUSE OF THE USE OF 7 DRAWERS. MADE USING MAHOGANY AND FLAME MAHOGANY VENEERS. CADDY SHAPED TOP SURFACE STANDS ABOVE 7 GRADUATING DRAWERS, WHICH ARE VENEERED IN A STRIKING FLAME MAHOGANY. EACH DRAWER IS FITTED WITH A BRASS WREATH RINGED HANDLE AND ESCUTHEON PLATE. ORIGINAL LOCKS AND KEY STILL PRESENT. STANDING ON A FRONT TURNED LEG WITH BLOCK FEET TO THE REAR. RICH COLOUR AND ORIGINAL PATINA. MINOR SURFACE MARKS TO 1 SIDE, RECENTLY RE-FINISHED IN OUR WORKSHOP AND READY FOR THE HOME.
