About This Piece

Beech wood (hand carved) Teimuraz Sarishvili is a Georgian sculptor born in 1955 who lives and works in Tbilisi, Georgia. He entered the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts at the Faculty of Decorative Applied Arts, majoring in interior design and equipment from which he was graduated in 1977. Since 1984, he has been working at the Tbilisi State Academy of Art and is an associate professor. He leads the direction of artistic processing of wood and furniture design, is the author of educational programs. He is a member of the board of the Union of Artists since 2018. He has conducted many workshops and trainings. He actively participates in many exhibitions and he works creatively in Georgia.
