Fine quality antique Victorian French silver plated tea urn by Risler and Carré having a lift off lid with twin scroll handles and a shelf and scroll border, an unusual original carved walnut handle top, feet and top finale. It is raised on cabriole legs and united with a central burner. Stamped Riddler and Carré Paris. A superior example of the highest quality by the worldwide renowned silversmiths who were awarded numerous Paris gold medals. Measures: H 47.5cm W 24.5cm D 23cm Date 1860.
