Fits E27 Europe bulb. It can be used with the USA, Canada, Japan E26 bulb. E26 and the E27 standards are interchangeable, meaning a US E26 will fit in a European E27 base, and E27 will fit in a E26 base. You do not need an adapter. It can work at 220v and also at 120v.
