Vintage Westpoort Armchair in Teak

Model "Westpoort" is a model that does not know its equal! A very rare and therefore not very common model that is marked with the mark of "Topform". This seating furniture is a great piece of Dutch furniture design, which is inspired by the Scandinavian style. We also see influences from the "De Knoop" model that was brought to the market by fellow manufacturer, the star and is known for its extravagant appearance. However, these armchairs from Topform, of which we have 2 copies in stock are many times less common than the previously mentioned type of furniture factory De Ster, and therefore a very rare piece of Dutch Mid Century Design. The frames of these armchairs are completely in solid teak wood and in very beautiful solid condition, the seat is wonderful, and the whole is very heavy in version, the quality is beautiful. The armchairs are fully equipped with new modern and wonderfully sitting pillows and also equipped with new upholstery, in a green/blue "Copacobana" fabric. The beautiful color upholstery, the wonderfully sitting pillows and the unique design of the frames make this an unprecedented highlight in the Mid Century Design, and a showpiece for everyone's interior!
