This is a Theodor Kärner (1884-1966), red hunt, white porcelain sculpture for Nymphenburg. Theodor Kärner (1884-1966), sculptor, worked at Nymphenburg Porcelain factory in Munich during 1905 - 1918 The white porcelain statue is from the serie Red Hunt, 1914 and marked with the Nymphenburg shield and crown mark (used between 1910-1975) and impressed with model number 382-2. The scene of this porcelain is a hunter on a galloping horse, holding reins and whip. Next to the horse are 2 hunting dogs running on a base in a rocaille pattern. The measurements of the statue is in cm: Height 19.5 x Width 19.5 x Depth 8. The weight is 534 grams.
